The largest and longest-running trade show serving the financial industry was held at the Sarit Centre Westlands Nairobi from September 19-21st. Company owners, operators and managers along with distributors attended or exhibited their products and services. This entailed three days of show casing products and services, seminars, and workshops including networking sessions.
The pesa show was envisaged to provide one of the most important platforms and opportunity for financial services providers, the business community in Kenya and the larger East African region to sample the widest range of innovative services and product available in the finance industry.
The show was also attended by other various institutions such as Kenya Revenue Authority, Gulf African Bank, Stima Sacco, UAP Insurance, UBA Bank, CFC Life, ICEA Lion Group and many more.
The event was officially opened by the guest of honour Mr. Kiprono Kittony the chairman, Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Kittony acknowledged Dahabshiil as the best and fastest growing international money transfer company that has made big strides in the money transfer industry worldwide making remittances back home from Kenyans in the diaspora.
Dahabshiil was awarded the overall best in customer service at the show and Pride Exihibitions CEO Mr. Joseph Sanna presented the award to the team.
The next Pesa Show will be held next year on the 22nd May 2015.
